Jasmine - Clinical Paediatric Occupational Therapist

Hi, I’m Jasmine, and I am an Occupational Therapist at Children’s Therapy Solutions.

I began my Occupational Therapy career in a specialist school supporting children and young people with a primary diagnosis of Autism and ADHD. Working closely with each child and their family allowed me to gain hands-on experience supporting a wide range of needs, while deepening my understanding of the importance of holistic, multidisciplinary working. Since then, I’ve achieved a PGCert in Sensory Integration and now practice as a Sensory Integration Practitioner.

I’m passionate about supporting children and young people to feel understood, valued, and connected to the world around them by engaging in activities that matter most to them. I’m especially passionate about helping young people re-engage in meaningful occupations through play. I truly believe play is a powerful way to explore, learn, and express yourself, while boosting confidence and self-esteem. I bring these values into every session, creating experiences that are fun, engaging, and genuinely meaningful for each individual.

As a neurodivergent practitioner myself, I bring both professional knowledge and lived experience into my work. I feel this gives me a unique perspective and helps me build genuine, trusting relationships with the children and families I support.

Since joining CTS, I’ve gained a deeper understanding of how play, trauma, attachment, and sensory integration are interconnected. I feel honoured to be part of such an incredible team and am excited to keep growing my skills and knowledge.

Outside of work, I’m happiest around animals or by the ocean, especially collecting shells and listening to the waves. I also love getting creative, whether it’s building Lego, baking something sweet, or doing arts and crafts.
