My OT journey began in adult mental-health, where I was met with a large clientele with low resilience, lack of coping strategies and occupational imbalance - often generated from their childhood experiences.

I thought to myself – The younger brain becomes the foundation for our future selves, therefore if I can make an impact at this pivotal stage of development, it offers young people an added opportunity to transition into healthy adulthood, and reach their full potential - I decided to put my energy into the children that require our support from the very start.

I am now proud to work for CTS as a paediatric OT to empower and give a voice to children through a medium of play and co-regulation. I feel privileged to be a part of helping young people excel, in an enjoyable way.
